SURF, PIER, BRIDGE
& JETTY REPORT:


Redfish: Few. random catches looking for pompano
Bluefish: Few. mostly around the pass
Blue Runner: Good.
Flounder: Few. really in the beginning stages but better than last week
Pompano:
Good. surf rigs with squid,shrimp and or fish bites is working
Spanish Mackerel: Few. some big ones
Whiting: Good. surf rigs with shrimp, squid or fish bites
Ladyfish:Good.

INSHORE REPORT:

Redfish: Good. a lot of oversize fish making their way to spawn offshore, be sure to revive them when releasing
Sheepshead: Few.
Ladyfish: Good.
Bluefish: Few.
Trout: Good. good bite in the backwaters early then it moves out a little deeper
Black Drum: Few. cut or live bait is working, some bruisers out there
Flounder: Good. good number showing up around deepwater point and areas leading to the pass
Pompano: Few. around the jetties
Spanish Mackerel: Few.

NEARSHORE and REEF REPORT:

King Mackerel: Good. Dead or live cigar minnows, blue runners, or trolling duster rigs
Bonita: Good.
Dolphin/Mahi Mahi: Few. a few nice ones picked up lately, some floating debris around and they love it
Red Snapper: Good. but closed
Black Snapper: Good. all over the bay, a lot of barely legal but a few good sized ones to be had
Amberjack: Good. but closed
Gag Grouper: Good. it's a good bite, livebaits seem best but butterflied fresh dead works good too
Red Grouper: Good. squid and small pinfish
Vermilion Snapper(Beeliner Mingo): Good. real good bite here and they have moved in close to shore
Triggerfish: Good. last day they are open is today
Pink Porgy (White Snapper): Good.
Scamp Grouper: Few.
OFFSHORE REPORT:

Wahoo: Few. good weather allowed a few boats to get out there fifty miles or so
Dolphin: Few. look for floating weeds or a tide line
Sailfish: Few.
Today's Notes:

Some real nice weather, take advantage if you can. Good amounts of bait and predators are not far behind, keep your eyes open. The bottom bite is good too, when trying for grouper use bigger baits to avoid the snapper you can't keep.
