SURF, PIER, BRIDGE
& JETTY REPORT:


Redfish: Good. schools of over slot sized fish are running the beach
Blue Runner: Good.
Flounder: Good. a fair amount of flatties are being reported
Pompano:
Good. surf rigs with squid,shrimp and or fish bites is working
Spanish Mackerel: Few.
Whiting: Good. surf rigs with shrimp, squid or fish bites
Ladyfish:Few.

INSHORE REPORT:

Redfish: Good. best bite on the flats was on the falling tide
Sheepshead: Good. live shrimp drifted under larger docks and along seawalls and bridge pilings
Trout: Good. good bite in the backwaters early then it moves out a little deeper
Black Drum: Good. cut or live bait is working, some bruisers out there cruising the grass beds
Flounder: Good. good numbers showing up around deepwater point and areas leading to the pass

NEARSHORE and REEF REPORT:

King Mackerel: Good. still some getting caught along the beach
Bonita: Few.
Red Snapper: Good. but closed
Black Snapper: Good. all over the bay, a lot of barely legal but a few good sized ones to be had
Amberjack: Good. but closed
Gag Grouper: Good. it's a good bite, livebaits seem best but butterflied fresh dead works good too
Red Grouper: Few.
Vermilion Snapper(Beeliner Mingo): Good. real good bite here
Triggerfish: Good. but closed
Pink Porgy (White Snapper): Good.

OFFSHORE REPORT:

Wahoo: Few. before all of this wind a fewwere being caught but had to get out 20 or more miles
Dolphin: Few. same
Blackfin Tuna: Few. same

Today's Notes:

This front should turn up the bite, plus we are coming off the effects of a strong full moon. Water temps are still around seventy, and we get a falling tide in the afternoon again.
